WINDOWS Users
1. Order or acquire a copy of a DVD cloning or copying software. There are two types of this software. One is software that can just copy DVDs which aren’t protected by CSS copy-protection and another which can entirely circumvent DVD copy-protection. Using both forms of software is lawful, but distribution and manufacture of the latter is not.
2. Put in the DVD you intend to copy into the DVD drive of your computer, open up its contents using windows explorer and locate the folder: VIDEO_TS.
3. Now run the DVD copying software you have on hand and follow the instructions or pop-ups that will appear. When you are asked to select the file you want to copy, choose the VIDEO_TS folder of the DVD you would like to copy. Make sure that its path matches the one in the explorer window.
MAC Users
1. Identical as step 1 above with the exception that you’ll need DVD copying software appropriate for MAC OS.
2. Put in the DVD you want to copy in the DVD drive, but instead of trying to find the VIDEO_TS folder, go and click the DVD drive and select “Applications” and launch the disk utility.
3. Select “New Image from the disk utility bar and a dialog box will show up requesting that you input the specific file that you plan to copy. Add the title of the DVD or another filename and select the destination where the new DVD copy will be saved.
