I have just downloaded the free AVG anitvirus software, When i went to scan my computer it said the resident shield was not active, so i went to advance, resident shield and disabled it then went back to resident shield and enabled it again and it was fine.however it said i wasnt protected again a little while later and the same problem occured with the resident shield, it keeps deactivating itself. i hope this is easy to understand.

I had my computer fixed and played with the other day and the tech guy put AVG free 8.0 Antivirus on it (i had Norton) and told me that it was as good as the full version and free. Im not too sure about this.

Am i better off paying for the complete Avg edition? or do any of you know of any other Antivirus packages i can get that are good????

i tried the free avg version but i heard it slows down
the cpu…and not very good..so please recomend me a good one..thank u so much…….
